Founded in 2016, Tharshini Homes carries the legacy of over 30 years in the Indian construction and renovation sector. The journey began in 1999 under the name Sri Vishnu Associates, focusing exclusively on renovation work for constructed sites. Over the span of 10 years, the firm successfully completed 200+ renovation projects, earning a strong reputation for quality and reliability.

Building on this foundation, the business expanded into interior design under the name Ramya Designers, specializing in modular kitchens and interiors for 150+ homes. With growing demand and a vision to offer end-to-end solutions, Tharshini Homes was formally registered as a Private Limited Company in 2016. Since then, we’ve evolved into a full-fledged construction company, delivering complete building packages and successfully completing 50+ residential construction projects.

What began as a small initiative has grown into a trusted brand rooted in values of quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction. Our in-house team includes 6 readily available engineers, each specializing in different fields and stages of construction, ensuring expert attention to every aspect of the build process. From planning to completion, every project reflects our passion for creating spaces that truly feel like home—for today, tomorrow, and generations to come.

Traditional South Indian architecture holds a very special place in our hearts. While we appreciate the efficiency of modern design, the warmth and spiritual depth of traditional elements make a house feel like home. We love incorporating features like thinnais (raised platforms at the entrance), intricately carved wooden doors, open courtyards, and clay-tiled sloped roofs. These not only add cultural richness but also have practical benefits like better ventilation and natural cooling. Blending these elements with modern amenities allows us to create a living space that respects our roots while embracing contemporary comforts.
Absolutely! In today’s world, sustainability is not a luxury—it’s a responsibility. We are very interested in eco-friendly homes that use natural lighting, rainwater harvesting systems, and energy-efficient appliances. At the same time, vastu compliance is equally important to us. We believe a home built according to vastu principles promotes harmony, health, and prosperity. When both sustainability and spiritual balance are integrated into the design, it gives us peace of mind, knowing our home is both environmentally conscious and energetically aligned.
For us, a perfect South Indian home should feel serene, functional, and deeply personal. A dedicated puja room is essential, not just for daily rituals but also as a sacred space that brings positive energy into the house. An airy verandah or sit-out space where we can relax in the evenings is another must-have. We also prefer homes that allow good cross-ventilation, natural lighting, and spacious kitchens that accommodate traditional cooking. Details like jaali work, terracotta tiles, or even a central open courtyard can elevate the atmosphere. These aren't just design choices—they're emotional anchors that connect us to our culture and lifestyle.
